Their work to plant trees and engage youth

Teamwork Strengthening Southampton Community Forestry

The Southampton Township Shade Tree Commission has partnered with youth volunteers to plant trees since 2011. They have created civic engagement opportunities and partnerships that have had a lasting impact on fellow residents and our children. The larger trees were planted with the assistance of the Department of Public Works.
